Customer Review: Elegant and nice!
I was in the market for a good quality portable DVD player for my daughter and stumbled on this Xoro gem which also comes with Freeview TV and whole host of other useful features. The player looks really smart and feels robust. The screen gives very good pictures. The unit’s seven-day electronic programme guide is easy to operate and the tuner only takes a couple of minutes to locate the TV and radio channels. The player comes with its mini-aerial, and like all digital sets, this TV does have to be in strong signal area to receive TV preogrammes. Other features include an SD card reader so one can view their photos as a slideshow. There are two headphone jacks which is handy if you have two kids who want to watch a DVD at the same time when you are driving! The only area that is not allowing me to give it 5 stars is the TV reception in poor signal areas (not the players fault mind you!). Overall very pleased and recommended.

These cards should not even be considered by anyone wanting to play recently released games such as Battlefield 2 at high detail with acceptable framerates. I struggle to see how the seller justifies the ?200 plus price tag when comparing the performance of a 9800 based card with the much more recent X800 series GPU based models on offer for similar or even less money. shop around a little and get much more for your money. I only gave one star because there was no option to give none.

Customer Review: Odys Flipdown Digital TV (Freeview)
We have this mounted under our Kitchen cabinets and overall it’s not bad. It receives Freeview broadcasts well and the picture quality is OK for this type of TV. The only thing I would criticise on the picture front is that it can be rather dark with some analogue sources (SKY re-modulated to UHF, for example) - adjusting to compensate would make Digital broadcasts way too bright. Also, please bear in mind that there is no Teletext available. The sound is surprisingly good for such a small unit, although Stereo’s always going to be a bit limited from such a small box. The control menu structure is not particularly well laid-out and nor is the remote control, but the fact that the latter is magnetic is certainly a cool idea. The unit has three separate aerial inputs for Digital TV, Analogue TV and Radio and you will need to provide separate cables for all three if you wish to use all of them (you would need the Analogue TV input if you re-modulate SKY broadcasts through your aerial distribution system, for example) - this is a bit of a pain, to be honest. The ability to swivel the display horizontally is useful, however.
