I replaced my computer a 2001 HP Pavilion about six months ago with an Advent with Windows Vista. I kept the Printer/Scanner, a robust workhorse HP Office Jet G55, but despaired at getting the scanner function etc working simply and effectively. Decided to give the Office Jet to my son and invest in a new all in one. The Canon Pixma MP970. At around ?200 it was ?100 less than I paid for the Office Jet in 2001! Quite simply, this is a versatile and user friendly machine. I am looking forward to scanning my old 35mm negatives pre the acquisition of the digital camera. The lights in the ink tanks are a nice feature, particularly after it took me half an hour to realise I had to snap off the orange covers! Surprising that the USB 2.0 cable not supplied, but anyway I had one in stock.

I have just bought this machine after 2 years with my Epson rx600.

ordered this on Dec24th and came in less than a week.

Took some setting up but dissapointed no usb lead,but for the price saving of nearly

70 pounds in shops no complaints. Having an Apple pc, it was easy connecting the two.

I paid 200 pounds for my epson but this is by far much better quiter and has a lot more features

going for it and simple to use using the lovely tft screen.

Very happy with photo results as i print a lot of A4 pictures which i show at work.

Definatly reccomend this printer,and 5 stars to Amazon who we buy a lot from.

Hands down the sony plus webtv unit is the best that has ever been made. With it you can surf and send email without any worry about viruses and spyware and best of all its so easy to use your Grandma or Grandpa could figure it out in minutes. All that is required is a tv set, a phone line and a monthly subscription from MSN.

If you love to cook high fat, this is the cookbook for you. Almost all recipes require a creamed soup. A few I tried were tasty, but definitely not too healthy.
Customer Review: Just plain awful
I tried to give this no stars, but apparently that isn’t an option… I have only made a few recipes from this book, but after reading the recipes, it is a terrible cook book. It features complete lack of organization, many recipes are duplicates of others, no commentary on the recipes. The few things I did make were so bad we threw them away without even serving them. I’m not even selling mine on Amazon, I’m putting it in the recycle bin.
