I bought one of these from ‘Mobile and Me’ through a link from Amazon. Item arrived next day, recommend seller. As the other review says; this isn’t the most aesthetic of items and the proof of the pudding will only come when I eventually drop the phone but for only a couple of quid compared to some of the leather jobs with bad reviews sold on Amazon I have to say I’m delighted.
Customer Review: Way better than the hard plastic alternative
Bought this as an alternative to a case that wraps around the whole phone, or those leather / neoprene affairs that split eventually and offer very little protection for the screen. Fitting this to the phone is easy, just drop it into the bottom half of the case, then slide the top half on. The two halves are held together by a thin line of plastic set into the silicon, which i did have initial reservations about, but has held together well. The case does add a small amount of width because of two thicker ridges of silicon running down the sides, but these act as excellent bumpers for the inevitable moment when you drop your phone and do add good overall grip when making calls. All the major buttons are still accessible and easy to use as the manufacturers have placed slightly harder sections of plastic over them which don’t impair use at all, the infrared still works fine through the case as well. The fit around the camera lens is perfect but the sliding switch to open the lens cover is slightly restricted when closing, not really a problem though and it does stop accidental opening. The silicon also adds a small amount of thickness to the area around the screen which does protect it if you place it face down, but it does not cover the screen at all so i have used this case in conjunction with peel off screen protectors and found this a good pairing. There is a cut out in the side of the case to allow access to the memory card, but the silicon is a little too thick to get to the cover without removing the case first. Again not a problem if, like me, you install your memory card once and never have any real need to remove it as i just use the usb cable supplied for file transfers anyway. The slide action works perfectly in both directions and the two halves of the phone are not forced apart in any way as is the case with some other products. However i often carry the phone in my pocket and the only gripe i do have about the case, hence the 4 star rating, is that silicon is very grippy and holds on to the inside of pockets very well. I have found that one half of the case can catch on the lining of clothes and cause the slide to open accidentally, especially on a phone that slides in both directions. Again something that can be adapted to though. All in all an excellent product that protects the phone extremely well while not impairing any of its functions.

Over the past 7 years I’ve had a lot of mobile phones of varying makes but this is the first phone I’ve ever had that really does live up to my every expectation. It looks deceptively plain but under the surface it has almost every feature you can think of; that is part of the phone’s attraction in my opinion. It looks neat and tidy, the controls are beautiful simple and easy to use and the build quality is excellent. Whereas other makes have lost their way with design, Nokia have succeeded in taking their phones forward with another evolutionary step rather than following the latest fads.

Customer Review: Don’t buy this phone
Don’t even consider this phone, mine has been repaired so many times in the past 12 months I have lost count, everytime I enter the shop the engineer bows and declares what a poor phone this is, and asks what’s wrong this time. This time, Nokia are refusing to repair it even though it has another 12 months warranty to run, they are refusing to reply to my emails and have left me with a ?400 piece of plastic. The camera is really slow, so slow you will miss your photo opportunity. The MP3 player is really basic, no EQ, no repeat loops, just play pause next and previous. This phone certainly isn’t “What computers have become!” as advertised. Stay away!
Customer Review: Good Features.. Pitty the phone dies young!
Ok, so. I’ve had the phone for about 6 months. First got it, thought “WOW! what an amazing phone.”Fantastic camera, easy to use when you understand, music quality is great, wifi feautres brilliant. Everything. 3 days later,, screen is a tad loose, not a major issue. Now, 6 months after having the phone… 1) Volume button does not work 2)Left menu button, Down & right buttons, do not work 3) Screen is extremly loose, 4) Hash key difficult to press, 5) Slide can be rather sticky sometimes.~ 6) Massive software problems, phone crashes ALOT. I kept this phone in my pocket everyday, treated it amazingly. SO What the hell is going on? Conclusion is that it IS a fantastic phone, probably only second to the 8GB version- but, if you want it to last the length of a contract for example you really do need to wrap it up in cotton wool and press the buttons with alot of care.

I’ve always bought a Krusell case for my phones,but this one is definately a bad design,you have to squeeze the phone into a pocket in the case,not a problem with flip or candybar phones,but the n95 is a sliding model,everytime you open the phone it feels as though your damaging it,because the sliding part has to slip over the plastic pocket.Also my phone’s battery last’s 8 hours in the case,and a day and a half without it.Bad design,but still made to Krusell’s high standards.

Customer Review: A Very Useful Product
As a customer of Amazon.co.uk, I find that the USB mobile phone charger is a very handy piece of equipment. It is light and small and very easy to use. At my place of work, I have computers and laptops surrounding me most of the time, when my phone flattens itself of electricity (which it frequently does), I can plug this in and give it a boost. Seeing as all the modern computer technology has at least two USB ports, then you can use it in any location where a computer or your own laptop is, and a plug socket isn’t. I must say that not every building has a computer, and not every computer has USB sockets (mainly older PC’s), so that can be a liability. In any case this is a very good product to buy, I recommend it dearly to any person that is considering to buy this, plus look at the price, brilliant. This is the worst piece of junk I’ve wasted money on. Had the cover for 7 days and it has broken around the bottom of the front fascia. Fractured after 4 days and split shortly afterwards. If I could give this item a lower score I would. Back to the drawing board. Also impedes the flip action of the phone. Looks good to start with but too quick to fall in bits !!

Having tried a couple of different cases on the market, this one, made by 1001Cables is excellent - it fits the phone like a glove, gives access to all ports and functions easily and most importantly, the front doesn’t pop off every time you slide the face of the phone. It doesn’t look the highest quality plastic but it does what it says on the tin and does it very well. If you want to protect your N95, this is the case to use.

Customer Review: Extended battery does what it claims!
I recently took delivery of this battery for my N95.1. It extends the life of the phone by a third on standby. I can get approx. 3 days light use of the phone. This means a few short calls and messages. Using the camera, games and in particular- wi-fi, runs the battery down quickly. The battery and its cover fit well and I have experienced no malfunctions of the device, unlike the first reviewer. Good luck Jim

I got one of these and whilst it does work IMHO the battery life similar if not worse than the original. slightly tighter fit which i like cos when changing covers you dont accidentally knock the battery out but not really worth the money, and why would you carry a spare battery when the mobile battery chargers are actually smaller anyway!
Customer Review: works with my N95
I got one of these batteries, exactly the same according to the picture except I bought mine from another online store (won’t mention names for Amazon’s sake) and it works fine, takes slightly longer to charge on it’s first cycle but then it works exactly the same as the original battery but lasts longer, thus staying true to its name. Don’t know why it fails to work in everybody else’s phone, it is a tighter fit and has to be pushed in a bit more forcefully than the Nokia supplied battery had to but not enough to cause any damage. No problems on my end, therefore I recommend the battery.
