Customer Review: Annoyed.
Despite being advertised as a 1300mAh battery, I recieved a 1100mAh. Compared with my original Nokia 1500mAh it performs surprisingly well, giving me 4-5 hours of use compared to 6-7.

It serves as an acceptable backup/extra battery. It loses a star for the mis-advertisment/shiping mistake and another star for doubling my delivery costs when I tried to order two of them.

I have been a phone sales consultant for many years. I also custom build high-end gaming computers. With the combined telecomms and hardware knowledge i have i can tell you that this phone is as good as a mid-priced laptop. Except of course it fits in your pocket, its a phone and and the battery lasts days not mins. Sat-nav, Wi-Fi, a massive 2.6″ dual sliding screen, 5 mega pixel camera and a special mulitimedia output allowing connection to your television for instant videos. The overall quality and funcionality of this phone puts it miles out ahead compared to the competition.

i have had many phones in my time but nothing remotely as powerful as the nokia n95! 5MP camera is really gd and video quality its above average. GPS and wi-fi make this phone unique. a lot of people slate the battery time saying its rubbish but i have to disagree. i have only had the phone a week and only had to charge it once! the first charge should allways be about 10-14 hours for best results. i really cant complain! i had a sony ericsson k800i before this and its not a patch on the N95!

Customer Review: Finally, a clock radio with everything.
The best feature of this audio system is the ability to attach an external antennae for the radio. I like waking up to public radio not music in the morning, and I’ve been hard pressed to find a CD player/radio system that plays both well until now. My only complaint is the mood light that changes colors or not on the LCD display that is too bright at night, and hard to read unless uou’re close up. It’s a nice compact system for a bedroom that fits on a night stand, or can be wall mounted. The speakers can be detached from the main unit and wall mounted as well. The remote is the size of a credit card. It has some good features like 20 memory presets, and displays temperature, date, as well as time. Oh yes, and the sound is quite good. Much better than my old boom box. An amazing value.

Customer Review: Very reliable at such bargained price
It looks so smart with slim size cabinet and can fit anywhere so nicely. The 250GB HDD capacity just gives me peace of mind on storage capacity of recorded TV contents as I know that I could be able to store so many hours of contents into HDD section not having to worry about copying onto DVDs from time to time. Timer-recording has worked out well without having missed any single scheduled ones and copying from HDD to DVD has performed well. Nicely built-in connections such as two scarts in & out, Componnets, Audio and Video. Picture quality is excellent. I am 100% convinced that it must be a excellent choice in terms of price, quality, design etc. I have never seen any smart-looking branded recorders like this and they all look like bricks compared to this.
Customer Review: The best thing I have ever bought
I came across Ellion when I was looking for an HD/DVD recorder. The leading makes were too expensive and the Ellion was the right price, had the required functions - a big hard drive capacity, numerous recording facilities, timeslip etc - and looked great. I’ve had one for around 18 months and I wouldn’t be without it. At first, I started using the timeslip function regularly, until a friend who bought one on my recommendation told me that you can watch a ‘live’ recording from the start. This meant that you were watching something while it was recording and it was permanently stored on the hard drive, unlike timeslip, which merely stores the programme in a temporary cache. I once accidentally hit the stop button on the remote while watching a timeslip recording and lost it forever. Remember, timeslip enables you to use pause or rewind/fast forward, but not stop; that literally erases the recording. By recording conventionally, the programme is always on the hard drive. It just takes a while to figure it out. Otherwise, the Ellion is a seriously brilliant piece of kit. Great looks, great functions, great price. For a manufacturer that isn’t one of the ‘big boys’ they deserve a lot of credit.

Customer Review: screen protector doesn’t fit my N95
Basically you are playing for 5 pieces of sticky back plastic to protect the screen of your Nokia N95. The screen protectors overlap the lcd screen of your nokia N95 and when applied leave air bubbles around the edges of the screen. After 3 attempts to apply the screen protector, I resorted to cutting the plastic to the correct size. For an item that is supposed to be precision cut, you would at least expect it to be cut to the correct size.

Customer Review: Have to say, its only ok.
You should know that it of course does not just cost 89pence - you might not have realised yet, but with the (cheapest) postage included, you will actually pay ?5.39. The case is quite clever the way the top section slides through a hard plastic groove on each side on runners. The holes are mostly accurately cut, but I’ve had to cut a bit more out for the microphone so that it’s not smothered. The bottom end doesn’t fit very well, its definitely a bit small. This case will protect the phone like all these silicone cases do, but in this instance at the cost of really losing out on the great looks of the phone underneath, and buttons feel lumpy and less accessible with it, especially for the camera. To do this lovely phone justice I’ll be looking for one of the leather cases - I hope someone reviews them!

I bought this Lacie HD last July. Last week it started making strange noises. I tried to backup my PC but could not see the drive in Windows explorer. I rebooted the Lacie drive, but still Windows didn’t reconise it. The drive still had the blue power light on but the HD was not spinning. I sent it back. Hats off to Amazon for being so quick to refund me. I will never buy a Lacie product again.

Have had the Eatsmart for about a month now and have been very impressed. Weighs most of the food i consume daily and gives accurate nutrient information. I really like that I can get a full size plate onto the scale and still read the display, something I have had a hard time with other scales I have owned. Overall very highly recommended.
Customer Review: Much better than the Salter 1450
So I had initially bought the Salter 1450 on the recommendation of a friend on an internet message board. While the scale worked fine, the database of foods was impractical (lots of packaged/junk foods) for somebody trying to maintain health with diabetes. Additionally, the search functionality (scrolling through) took more time than it was worth and just created headaches for me. My local diabetes center recommended the EatSmart to me, and so far i have been thoroughly impressed. Seems to be a much more “professional” approach to this scale, with a database tailored specifically to whole foods and an easy to use interface. Best of all, the nutrition facts calculator is an additional feature that allows me to monitor net carbs with any packaged foods i happen to eat (this can be done with any food, so I make my own healthy 100 calorie snacks!) It also sits nicely on my kitchen counter and looks aesthetically pleasing, unlike the Salter that looked like a laptop and I was ashamed to have around. EatSmart was a little cheaper too so i saved a few bucks. Highly recommended

Customer Review: Never Buy This!
Bad Points: 1) Right out of the box it booted so many times every day I lost count and hasn’t stopped since. 2) It randomly loses sound or signal on all channels and must be turned off by the button on the machine then on again before it will work. 3) Sometimes it will suddenly give out a very loud static hiss that won’t stop until you turn it off at the button on the machine then on again. 4) Our Matsui tv remote is also able to interfere with it so we must carefully aim the tv remote above the digital recorder or it will mess up recording/playback etc. 5) When pressing buttons on the digital recorder remote it will do the action of the button pressed previously a few times before it will do the action it’s supposed to be doing. For example, if I try to raise the volume then lower it, the button to lower it will continue to raise the volume for a few presses. 6) Timed recordings often don’t work on playback, they’re just black through the entire duration with no sound. 7) Sometimes programmes set to record are not recorded at all (probably because we turned the TV off with the TV remote while the digital recorder is recording another show and it’s brought up a message asking if you want to stop recording. If this is up, timers don’t record like they should). Its electronic programme guide is slow to load and often doesn’t load up completely 9) Sometimes it will get stuck in a loop of trying to record something on a timer, then booting, then starting to record, then booting. Luckily after quite a few minutes I managed to be quick with the remote to stop it recording so it’d stop booting. 10) It’s always slow to respond to the remote control, sometimes taking as long as 10 seconds to respond. Good Points: None that make it worth suffering all its bad points for! It makes me sick to think how much was spent on it. I must be insane to have bought this product. I’ve had it 1-2 years so it’s been well tested.
Customer Review: Avoid the twin tuner GHDD1785 too!
I bought the slightly pricier GHDD1785DVBT (from elsewhere) as it had twin digital tuners for a very reasonable price. Plus points - an attactive and compact unit with easy to use menus and EPG, the picture quality is great and hardly ever any picture interference. On the negative side, and most annoyingly, even on standby it regularly switches channels on the TV (eg when watching DVDs). The sound freezes up or becomes unsynchronised when watching and recording simultaneously. Apparently some of the the infrared remote commands seem to use the same frequency as some of my other non-Goodmans equipment. I returned and replaced the box at the retailer but the faults appear to be design or engineering flaws, so this baby is going back as soon as I can watch all the backlog of recorded programs.

Customer Review: Doesn’t clean, leaves film
Unfortunately, this product just doesn’t work. We pre-rinse plates, we’ve tried adding more or less detergent, and nothing seems to help. Our dishes are always streaked with a cloudy white film, and our glasses are all cloudy. Our utensils are rarely clean, and are always spotted. I’ve thoroughly checked our dishwasher to make sure there are no clogs and to ensure diry water wasn’t re-circulating. I don’t like the scent of lavender in dish cleaning liquid anyway, I prefer lemon or citrus, but I purchased this hoping it would be an environmentally helpful product. Sadly, it just doesn’t do the job. I am now stuck with 5 bottles that I am not quite sure how to use - maybe they’ll help cleaning the tub.

I tried the Earth Friendly Powder first, and that did not clean well, in addition to clumping up and being left in the dishwasher after it ran. But the Gel works fine for me. Not as good as, say, “Cascade Complete”, but Cascade has phosphates. It does require rinsing the dishes and a good dishwasher.

Customer Review: Good Value
This is the first LCD tv I’ve ever bought, I’d been putting it off each year believing that they still had some way to go before being as good as the best CRTs (old Sony Triniton 100Hz tvs for example).

I have to say I was nicely surprised once I had set it up, as long as you’ve got a healthy reception the digital broadcast images are very good. I find the colours a bit intense on some channels, though I suspect this is due to the broadcast signal rather than the TV.

Plenty of inputs though for connecting a PC you are limited to analogue VGA, that said with a good graphics card the picture is still very good (way better than what’d you’d get on a CRT tv and more than adequate for web browsing, watching movies etc).

Sound is also better than expected, the audio line out is brilliant for connecting to a hifi-amp, though is fixed in level so you’ll need a hifi remote to adjust the volume from the sofa.

The rec-timer funtion is one of my fav features, it can be programmed to send any digital broadcast down the smartlink Scart port to your older VCR/DVD recorder while the TV is off (effectively giving you a Sky+ style recorder). Of course you still have to set the timer on your video This also removes the need to pass the broadcast signal through the VCR before connecting to the TV which can often cause interference.

All in all, good value, perhaps not quite as good as the best CRTs but for ?425 you really can’t complain.

Customer Review: You get what you pay for
I needed a TV for my daughters bedroom makeover. I very nearly bought a cheaper 32″, strange make, with fair reviews from Ebuyer.

But I didn’t.

I virtually always go for a premium brand, and am a great believer in the phrase Price is forgotten long after quality is remembered.

In the end I found this ?100 off, and I was able to use my company discount. Bottom line I Paid ?380. So a good price.

I was not expecting the digital free view, so we were delighted to get this as a bonus. Loads of extra channels, and some really good ones, Film4/ Sky news/ music channels plus a raft of others.

Picture quality - from my aerial was crystal clear, its HD ready, but I haven’t used this mode yet.

Wall mounting - easy to do. It didn’t come with a kit, I bought one online from www.av4home.co.uk (?33 including next day delivery).

I had to cut off the moulded plug, and replace with another one, so I could hide the wires away. It comes with a lead, which you cannot detach from the TV, and it is about 1.5m long.

Looks great on the wall, and picture quality is fabulous.

I bought this battery as my original Nokia battery had stopped holding charge.

The first thing I noticed was that the voltage rating was not the same as the Nokia battery, which gave me cause for concern. Afer a few cycles of full charge and discharge the battery only lasts a maximum of 2 days with only light use (texts, MP3 player and radio, no calls made). My phone also crashed at least once a day and whilst I can’t categorically say this was caused by the battery, since replacing it with an official Nokia battery I have not had any crashes.

Overall, I would recommend paying the extra and getting an original Nokia battery. For me the Techsplosion battery was a waste of ?10 (?5.99 plus ?4.50 p&p).
