Great DVD if you are somewhat technologically challenged but don’t like the idea of paying a couple hundred bucks to do something as seemingly simple as hooking up your TV. When my old TV quit, I decided that it was time to go high definition based on the fact that there isn’t much choice in “old type” analog TVs. I also decided to upgrade my old DVD player, too, as it had been acting up — freezing, etc. Most of the salesmen I talked to pushed “HDMI” connections saying it provided a better picture, but none of them could tell me why or, in most cases, even what it stands for (High Definition Multimedia Interface). And all of them wanted me to pay to “install” the new TV and DVD player. Having had several TVs, VCRs, and a DVD player already, I have never had any of these “installed”, and saw no reason to start now. Seemed like a scam to me. However, after the TV and DVD player were delivered, I was pretty much overwhelmed by all the connections and cable possibilities. I bought “Hook Me Up!” to get a handle on this so I could do it myself, and, though somewhat longish, it was exactly what I needed and savd me at least $150 compared to a so-called installation, plus I know now what I am doing! Highly recommend it to others who are in my situation.

This toy is very pretty & the few games it has are nice. The screen is waaaaaaaay too small, doesn’t light up & wouldn’t have held my daughter’s attention. She’ll be turning 4 in a couple of weeks & I didn’t want to waste her time so I returned it the day after receiving it. The games are age appropriate but my daughter is pretty intelligent for her age & would have gotten very bored too quickly with it. Also, b/c it’s not a QWERTY keyboard (she’s used to the real keyboard and knows where most of the letters are), she wouldn’t have liked it very much. Overall, it is a nice educational toy, but I think it would be better to buy a laptop that (firstly) has a bigger screen that lights up & would challenge a child and keep their interest longer than a few days.

I just bought this in a store, so I was well aware that it was small. It’s actually nice to be able to stick it in my purse or diaper bag if necessary, or to keep handy in the car. My daughter is 2-1/2 and enjoys it, wth no apparent problems or frustration at finding the numbers. (Remember, just because adults are confused doesn’t mean that a kid is!)

I got one to protect my N95 but ended up taking it off because of the bits of plastic that were hanging off were catching on my clothing. Within a week it was cracked and broke, and this was not through any rough treatment. Clearly the plastic used is too brittle,when a more resilient and flexible one is required. Back to the drawing board Mr designer!

As said by others (sadly after I bought one) this is too weak (especially where the lower buttons come through). The N95 isn’t really suitable for a hard case.

I got one of these batteries, exactly the same according to the picture except I bought mine from another online store (won’t mention names for Amazon’s sake) and it works fine, takes slightly longer to charge on it’s first cycle but then it works exactly the same as the original battery but lasts longer, thus staying true to its name. Don’t know why it fails to work in everybody else’s phone, it is a tighter fit and has to be pushed in a bit more forcefully than the Nokia supplied battery had to but not enough to cause any damage. No problems on my end, therefore I recommend the battery.

Bought this camera five weeks ago whilst on holiday, have recorded both HD ans SD. The HD is mindblowing when hooked upp to a 1080HD TV. You would honestly think it was recorded by a pro.

Also bought Sony Vegas Platinum editing studio. This does thet you edit the AVCHD format and burn it to standard DVD’s in SD format whilst keeping the original HD content for future burns to Blu Ray when cost comes down or showing on a HD TV via the Camcorder its self.

To summarise, an amazing camera at a great price.
